GAHCC LAUNCHES MEMBERSHIP AND EVENT TRACKING SOFTWARE

The most important asset is our membership and the Greater Arlington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will begin showcasing its reMEMBERE software. This software developed by CompuSol, Inc. provides the tools to service our members with the most efficient and highest level of productivity. Our members' information will be available at our fingertips.

The reMEMBER program was designed to assist in the management of membership and event tracking functions for organizations such as chambers of commerce or non-profit organizations. Its various modules will also assist with other aspects of the Chambers business, including accounting and reporting procedures.

The program allows us to compile detailed profiles of our membership with features to track referrals, keep detailed comments and generate mailings. Included is a monthly calendar option to track the attendance, planning, and budgeting of special events. A financial module provides options for the invoicing of membership dues, event billing, product sales, and tracking yearly versus monthly budgeting variances or other financial transactions.

The software also assists in generating new members by keeping directory listings and displaying event calendars on-line via the Internet for up-to-date information to the public. New members will be able to enroll online as well. The reMEMBER program will give your Chamber an opportunity to increase its membership levels and retention with this easy-to-use software.

Board of Directors voted unanimously to give the Chamber a new name.

At the May 21, 2008 monthly meeting the Board of Directors agreed that a name change was necessary. To better reflect our rapidly growing Latino business element throughout the Tarrant County corridor the Board all agreed to change the name to the Greater Arlington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, said Greg Vaquera, president. Southeast Tarrant County is growing daily and the Greater Arlington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will work hard to serve the Latino business communities in surrounding cities. Such cities are Dalworthington Gardens, Pantego, Kennedale, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Hurst, Euless, and Bedford.
